Nice list. I've only played Portal. I am really keen on trying Carrion. I can't wait to make my list in the coming weeks ... if i wait long enough I can put Starfield on it :)

Thanks Dré! recommend Carrion with a controller (haven't tried with keyboard and mouse, to be fair)

Very excited by Starfield, but Bethesda and I have a checkered past. Hoping for the best with this one though.

This is great, and I really like the direction you chose. Carrion sounds like a great premise for a game (or book, movie, whatever- video games are art!).

Have you ever played Civ 2? That's one of my all-time favorite games of any genre, and I wonder how the gameplay compares with Stellaris. Civ was pretty intuitive, but it took years to become an expert, and I think I learned a lot of lessons playing it.

Portal was amazing.

Carrion was an absolute blast of a game.

I have played a few of the Civ games. I think Stellaris is very similar in a lot of ways but maybe not quite as eloquent as some of the Civ iterations. I still always think about it as 'Civ in space'

How do you think about Starcraft? I played Warcraft II an awful lot for a few years there.

Only played starcraft once, and I had fun, but never got into it the same way a few of my friends did.

WoW I played for a year or so, around the time Mists of Pandaria came out, and I loved every minute!
